Jurgen Klopp's future continues to be the subject of speculation. According to German media, Klopp is the favorite to take over the German national team in the summer, replacing Julian Nagelsmann, even though he has a contract until 2028. The former Liverpool manager is currently the global director of football at Red Bull.
The German technician took up the role in January 2025 after leaving Liverpool's bench at the end of that season.

Instead, a return to club level is not considered likely at the moment, despite speculation linking him with major clubs including Real Madrid.
According to BILD, the possibility of this happening in the summer, despite the fact that national team coach Julian Nagelsmann (38) is under contract until 2028, is considered very likely by a growing number of people within Red Bull.

Two weeks ago, the German coach spoke openly about his current situation and the idea of returning to coaching.
“I am at a point in my life where I am completely at peace with where I am. I don't want to be anywhere else. I don't wake up in the morning excited if they say Real Madrid would be interested in me. That comes more from the media.
Will I still train? At this point I would say no, but I can never say never“, said the technician, according to the cited source.
A rich career for Klopp
In his current position, Jurgen Klopp coordinates the sports strategy for all clubs in the Red Bull network, including: RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls.
Since leaving the Liverpool bench, there have been numerous rumors of a possible return to coaching, either at club level or with a national team. Jurgen Klopp began his coaching career at Mainz, then enjoyed success at Borussia Dortmund, before a heyday at Liverpool.
His record includes 13 trophies, including: the UEFA Champions League won in 2019 with Liverpool, the Premier League title in 2020 and two Bundesliga titles with Borussia Dortmund (2011 and 2012).
