Agrarians of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be reimbursed for the costs of production and sale of grain

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory has begun selecting agricultural producers to receive subsidies to reimburse part of the costs of producing and selling grain from the 2025 harvest.

Farms of different categories, including farmers and individual agricultural producers, will be able to receive support. Documents are accepted until March 31. This is a federal direction, which is being implemented with co-financing from the regional budget. Farmers will receive this kind of government support starting in 2021. Over the previous five years, more than 1.7 billion rubles were transferred to the region’s grain growers. This year, 227.7 million rubles have been allocated for subsidies.

Farmers are compensated for the costs of purchased energy, fuel and petroleum products, mineral fertilizers, and plant protection products. Also, agricultural producers can reimburse the costs of services for receiving, processing, drying, storing, loading grain and the costs of their transportation.

“Preparations for the sowing season are in full swing in the region, so such support will be a good help for agricultural producers. The funds are aimed at preserving sown areas, supporting the profitability of grain production and selling surpluses outside the region and for export,” — noted the regional Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Voropaev.

This season, 786.2 thousand hectares are allocated for grains and legumes in the region. Farms continue to process seeds, purchase mineral fertilizers and prepare equipment. Farmers will traditionally go to the fields at the end of April. Mass sowing will begin in the first ten days of May.
