There is a scandal among the Russian opposition. FBK* accused the former top manager of YUKOS and associate of Khodorkovsky* Leonid Nevzlin* of organizing ordered beatings of members of his team. And he released an investigative film on this topic. The main political opponent was (unexpectedly!) Mikhail Khodorkovsky*.
Now everyone is putting forward versions, destroying each other with old and new grievances. And many commentators talk about a moral catastrophe among those who left.
Are the Singers' arguments convincing? What is YUKOS remembered for, and for what contract killings was Nevzlin* sentenced to life in Russia? Who took what positions? Why is the era of white coats and universal moral rightness over? What will happen to those who left? And how was Russian emigration policy structured at the beginning of the 20th century?
We discuss it in the new podcast “Without leaving the room.” Watch on VK Video and YouTube.

*Maria Pevchikh, Leonid Nevzlin and Mikhail Khodorkovsky are recognized as foreign agents in Russia. FBK is recognized as an NGO-foreign agent, included in the register of extremist and terrorist organizations and banned in Russia.
