LPF announced the schedule of the first stage of the Superliga play-out. The round will be opened by the duel between Oțelul Galati and Csikszereda, and will be closed by the match between FC Botoșani and Unirea Slobozia.

Participating in the play-out for the first time in history, FCSB will debut on Friday, from 20:30, against Metaloglobus, in a match that could mark Mirel Rădoi's first match on the bench. After Elias Charalambous resigned following the match against Universitatea Cluj, 1-3, the arrival of the former coach from Universitatea Craiova was confirmed by Gigi Becali, but an official announcement has not yet been made.

Play-out standings after halving points

  1. FCSB – 23 points

  2. UTA Arad – 22 points (benefited from rounding)

  3. FC Botoșani – 21 points

  4. Galati Steel – 21 points (rounding)

  5. Lighthouse – 19 points (rounding)

  6. Oil – 16 points

  7. Csikszereda – 16 points

  8. Unirea Slobozia – 13 points (rounding)

  9. Hermannstadt – 12 points (rounding)

  10. Metaloglobus – 6 points

places 1 and 2 they go to the Conference League play-off semi-final (provided they have a UEFA licence) and the winner will play for the place 3 from the play-offs.

places 7 and 8 they go to the promotion/maintenance play-off in the Superliga, where they will play the 3rd and 4th places in the League 2 play-off (if they are eligible for promotion). And the places 9 and 10 relegated to League 2.
