“We conceded a quick goal, but then we continued well, we were in control of the match. We got close to the opponent's box, but the situations we had were not good enough. At the end of the first half we conceded the second goal from a free kick.
In the second half we made some changes, we had chances again, we dominated the match, we also had a penalty. For us, the biggest problem right now is that we don't manage to score from the big chances. We played with attitude and we will turn things in our favor.
We knew that the CFR would play with long balls, that the players would enter hard in duels for the second ball, that they would shoot from a distance. I can't say that we didn't control the match and that we didn't have chances, but when you don't score it's very difficult to expect anything. For us, the biggest problem in the last few games is that we can't score from the opportunities we have.
We have Mărginean, Karamoko, even Pușcaș, the new acquisition, unavailable. Regarding the young players, they are part of our plan. Today Ianis (No. Tarbă) and Musi and Duțu also played very well. They have quality. Also, Mazilu was good, Cristi Mihai played OK. Dinamo must have promising young players, we count on them. I'm happy with how they came into the match.
