Seventh American serviceman killed in war against Iran. He died when his transfer to a hospital in Europe was being prepared

Another American serviceman has died in the war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran, according to the announcement made by the Pentagon on Sunday. Thus, the number of American troops killed in the conflict reached seven, according to The New York Times.
The soldier's identity has not yet been released publicly, in accordance with family notification procedures. He was seriously injured on March 1, when Iranian forces struck a Saudi military base where American troops were stationed, the US Army's Central Command said in a press release.
The soldier died of his injuries while being prepared to be transferred for more advanced medical care to a US military hospital in Germany, officials said.
On Saturday, President Donald Trump witnessed the repatriation of the lifeless bodies of the first six US servicemen killed in the war with Iran in a solemn ceremony at the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. The six reservists died in an Iranian drone attack last Sunday in Kuwait's Shuaiba port.
Since the outbreak of the conflict on February 28, the retaliation launched by Iranian forces has killed at least 20 people in the region. On Friday, Iran's UN ambassador said more than 1,300 people had died in his country.
In Lebanon, where Israel launched an operation against Hezbollah after it was attacked by pro-Iranian Shiite militias in response to the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Lebanon's health minister said on Sunday that 394 people had died so far, including 83 children, 42 women and nine health professionals.
On Sunday it recorded the first two casualties and the Israeli army, which announced that two of its soldiers had been killed in combat in southern Lebanon.
