Gigi Becali, the patron of the FCSBannounced that Mirel Rădoi (44 years old) will take over the team until the summer.
The owner of FCSB claims that Mirel Rădoi, his son, will come to help the team without being paid until the summer, and that there will be a series of negotiations at the end of the season.
According to the boss, the former leader from Ghencea will take over the team on Tuesday, March 10. The appointment came after last week Becali spoke with Mirel Rădoi to lead a scouting department at FCSB.

“Since Tuesday, Mirel is a coach at FCSB, he only comes for two and a half months to help. Now that they have resigned, he said “yes, godfather, I'm coming to help you”, but until now I had a coach.

Radoi's last coaching experience at FCSB was not a successful one

Radoi trained FCSB for a few months between June and November 2015 and left following a conflict with his godfather, Gigi Becali. The mandate was marked by a failure: not qualifying in a European group
The experience at FCSB was the first in coaching. Since then, Rădoi has led Romania U21, the first representative team, Universitatea Craiova, Al-Tai, Al-Bataeh and Al-Jazira from the bench. He was also the sports manager of the U21 national team for a short time.
In 2023, Mirel Rădoi declared for GSP that he no longer wanted to work with Gigi Becali.
I would not come to FCSB again, because it happened once with his godfather, Gică Hagi, and once with his son, with me. Then, if it happened twice, I don't expect anything else the third time.
