The derby at the “San Siro” between AC Milan and Inter, a match in the 28th round of Serie A, will break the record of receipts in the Italian championship.

After the “nerazzurri” recorded 8,694,494 euros following the round match, the receipts from Sunday's derby will exceed 8.7 million euros, reports sportal.bg.

Before this stage, Cristi Chivu's Inter is the clear leader in Serie A, with 67 points, having a 10-point lead over the main pursuer, rival AC Milan.

Thus, in the event of a victory for Inter, Cristi Chivu's team would take a huge step towards the title, reaching a 13-point lead with 10 stages remaining.

However, for Inter, a difficult schedule follows in the championship, where they still have to play teams like Atalanta, Fiorentina, AS Roma, Como, Lazio or Bologna.

The round match, with Inter as host, ended with the victory of AC Milan, score 1-0. Christian Pulisic scored the only goal of the game in the 54th minute and Inter scuppered any chance of at least a point after Hakan Calhanoglu missed a penalty in the 74th minute.

In addition to the 10-point lead in the standings, Inter has by far the best offense in the championship, with 64 goals scored. In terms of defense, with 21 goals conceded, Inter is surpassed only by AS Roma (19), Como (20) and AC Milan (20).
