The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, was involved in a road accident in Bucharest on Saturday, in which two people, in the other car, were slightly injured, judicial sources told Agerpres.
The Traffic Police specified that the accident took place on Nicolae Bălcescu Boulevard, at the intersection with Dem I. Dobrescu Street, around 11:10.
“The traffic police arrived at the scene and found that what was reported was confirmed, as it was a traffic accident, in which two vehicles were involved. The accident resulted in the slight injury of two people, passengers in one of the vehicles involved, who requested transport to the hospital for the provision of medical care”, declared the Road Brigade.
Police said the drivers were breathalyzed and the results were “zero”.
The authorities are conducting investigations to establish exactly the causes and circumstances in which the road accident occurred.
