According to Dr. Hab. Dominika Hejja from UW Orban may now want to use this case to postpone the date of the parliamentary elections in Hungary scheduled for April 12. Fidesz, led by the Prime Minister of Hungary, took the army to the streets, and the pretext was a “possible attack from Ukraine.”

The latest polls indicate that Fidesz may lose power in Hungary after many years. Many of them point to the significant advantage of the opposition TISHA party, led by Peter Magyar. According to Republikon Intezet, this party can count on 47 percent. support, while Fidesz on 39 percent. The Politico ranking also shows 48 percent. for TISZA and 39 percent for Fidesz.
