The dynamic tariff for Moscow parking lots will be launched in pilot mode from November 1 for all motorists. This is when the price for a parking space can even be zero rubles – if it is available.
According to the initiators, the price for paid parking in the center of the capital more than once dropped to 0 rubles during the test. Motorists calmly parked their chaises and did not pay anything. Now the project will be tested in real conditions on the streets: Ilyinka, Novaya Square, Tverskaya Zastava, Nikitsky Lane and Rozhdestvensky Boulevard. The cost will also start from 0 rubles, and if the parking lot is full, the maximum can rise to 800. Next, collect feedback from drivers and refine the project based on it.
To refresh your memory a little: a dynamic tariff is a project of floating parking costs, which depends on the load of the parking lot. The more cars, the more the car owners pay, and vice versa, down to zero. If everything goes smoothly, users will be able to better predict the route, and the center of Moscow will become freer.
