Żabka goes a step further. An unusual store was opened in Warsaw

The appearance of the store resembles a premium-class outlet offers customers a special food zone where they can drink coffee or eat a hot meal in comfort.
The new facility was built next to the Novotel hotel in Warsaw. Downstairs, customers will find a standard, well-known retail space. However, the real surprise awaits them on the upper level, where seating areas have been arranged. There you can consume, among others: ready-made meals and iconic snacks purchased on site.
Żabka launches in Poland at least 1 thousand new stores per year. This scale forces the company to adapt architecturally unusual spaces. What does the network itself say about this?
— The indicated store is not a new format, but rather an example confirming the flexibility of our model. The multi-story location allows us to show our ability to adapt to various conditions, which is nothing new – admits Żabka's press office to “Rzeczpospolita”.

— Depending on the available space, we can use various solutions known from our other facilities. The premises where our store will operate will cover an area of over 170 sq m and is shared with two other retail and service outlets. – he adds.
Snacks and coffee drive billions in profits
Gastronomy turned out to be the key to the financial success of the Żabka chain. Pizza is a real phenomenon – in 2025 alone, the chain sold over 16.5 million pieces of this product. Hot dogs also remain an absolute hit. Poles buy them on average at a rate of two pieces per second, which translates into several dozen million portions per year.
However, it all started with coffee. IN In 2024, almost 39 million cups of this drink were bought in the chain's stores, which gives an average of 110,000. coffees a day. The average Pole buys three coffees a month, with men drinking the brew more often. The seasonality of sales is also surprising – most of the black drink is sold in autumn, and the least in spring.
