Flights from Budapest to Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates are currently unavailable until September 21. Flights to Jordan's capital, Amman, are unavailable until September 22, and flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, are only available from October.

The Hungarian travel portal Utazomajom quoted the statement of one of the travelers who noticed that his flight from Budapest to Dubai scheduled for April 1 had been canceled. He saw the change in the travel status in the mobile application, where he was given the option to change the reservation or get a full refund.

On Wednesday – in the face of continued military operations in the Middle East – Wizzair extended the suspension of flights to and from Israel, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Amman until Sunday, March 15 inclusive. Unlike the UAE and Jordan, flights to Tel Aviv are still available on Thursday as of March 16.

In Wednesday's announcement, Wizzair also announced that flights from the UK to Jeddah and Medina in Saudi Arabia will resume as planned – on March 8.

The carrier also stated on Wednesday that the conflict in the Middle East may reduce the company's net profit in 2026 by approximately EUR 50 million.
