Insulation for clothes made from reindeer wool began to be produced in Yamal

March 6 7:30
A northerner entrepreneur has developed a technology for producing an innovative material based on deer hair. Yamal 1 reports this.
The process involves several steps: the hair is cut from the hides, thoroughly washed to remove fat, blood and odor, then ionized and dried. After this, the raw materials are fixed on windproof fabric.
Clothing with new insulation has already been tested in severe frost conditions. According to the creator, it is not inferior in quality to traditional products made from deer skins, but is easier to care for.
