In Krasnoyarsk, the FSB uncovered a bribery scheme in a clinic when registering a disability

In Krasnoyarsk, the former head physician of a city clinic is suspected of receiving a bribe for processing documents to establish disability. Together with him, the bribe-giver and the intermediary are under investigation, the regional Investigative Committee reported. A criminal case was opened on the basis of materials from the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

According to investigators, between March and April 2025, the head physician of one of the city clinics helped a 56-year-old resident regional capital to receive a referral for a medical and social examination to establish disability. For this service, he received 60 thousand rubles from the woman. A 67-year-old friend of the doctor took part in the transfer of money.

A criminal case was opened against the man for receiving a bribe through an intermediary in a significant amount (Part 3 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), a 56-year-old woman from Krasnoyarsk will answer for giving a bribe (Part 3 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), and the third defendant is suspected of mediation (Part 2 of Article 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The former chief physician is under house arrest. In a criminal case, the necessary investigative actions are carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, as well as possible other episodes of criminal activity of the defendants.
