The Ukrainian leader acknowledged that the inevitable result of shifting attention to the Middle East is that “(Ukraine's) air defense may be weakened,” he said.
He also revealed that he had given appropriate instructions to his commanders.
“My team knows this and has already received a message from me that they must prepare for such challenges” – he added, emphasizing that this is a statement of an objective fact, not a complaint.
Russia may benefit from rising oil prices
Zelensky drew attention to another threat related to the war against Iran. The price of crude oil has already increased by almost 20%. since the American-Israeli attack, which may increase Russia's income from the sale of raw materials.
“Whether Russia will use this will depend on how our partners cooperate with the largest importers. That's why we have to work on it. We need to continue working on sanctions, how to stop the shadow fleet, tankers with Russian oil” – said the president of Ukraine.

However, Zelensky does not expect drone attacks to decrease as a result of the operation against Iran. He explained that although for a long time Moscow relied on Shaheds imported from this country, it now produces them itself.
