Former Romanian international Gică Craioveanu (58 years old) appeared on the red carpet at the release of the film “That March”, a production in which he plays the role of a senator. The event took place at AFI Cotroceni, where approximately 600 guests were expected.
Divorced since 2019, the current TV analyst made his appearance on the red carpet with his new partner, a rare appearance in the public space.

For the former striker from the University of Craiova, Real Sociedad, Villarreal and Getafe, it is not the first experience in cinematography. In 2019, Craioveanu also had a role in the film “Shut up or do it”. This time he plays the role of a senator in the Romanian-Spanish thriller “That March”.
The film, directed by Iura Luncașu, marks a change of register for the former footballer, who moves from comedy to a more sober role, in a story inspired by the atmosphere of spy films.
International cast and filming in two countries
The film is a Romanian-Spanish co-production and was filmed over 24 days, in locations in Cluj-Napoca and at Castell de Peniscola.
The cast features several internationally known names, including Esther Acebo (known from La Casa de Papel), Costas Mandylor (Saw franchise) and Game of Thrones star Luke Roberts.
The film script is inspired by the novel written by Olivia Odăianu. The story follows the mission of a secret agent played by Mădălina Bellariu Ion, who must protect a medical researcher in a tense context, marked by political intrigues and espionage operations.
