Kader Keita, the Rapid football player, hit a woman crossing the street and left the scene of the accident!

The accident occurred on Gherghiţei Street (Bucharest), around 05:50 in the morning, a few hours after the success of the Giulești team on Slobozia's field, score 2-1, according to golazo.ro.

GSP.ro sources confirm the information, and the woman is admitted to Floreasca Hospital in Bucharest in serious condition. Information from the club claims that the footballer was returning from the morning prayer and that the option of consuming alcohol or other substances is excluded.

It should be mentioned that on Monday, against Slobozia, the player was introduced at half-time by Costel Gâlcă instead of Jakub Hromada. The footballer participated in Costel Gâlcă's training today (17:00), but did not inform anyone from the club about the incident.

Immediately after the accident, the rescue took over the 68-year-old woman and transported her to the hospital, and the footballer left the scene without reporting the accident to the Police.

Later, the police found out what happened, identified him and took him to the Road Brigade, where he is at the moment.

Until now, the exact circumstances of the accident have not been made public.

If it is confirmed that he left the scene of the accident without the consent of the police, the act falls under the Criminal Code. Leaving the scene of the accident constitutes a crime when there are victims as a result of the impact.

The law provides for imprisonment from 2 to 7 years, depending on the conclusions of the investigation.

Keita arrived in Romania two years ago, when he was transferred by CFR Cluj. After a year, Rapid loaned him for six months for 200,000 euros. Dan Șucu paid another 100,000 euros in the summer to buy Kader.

He has played 26 games this season for Rapid in all competitions without scoring or providing an assist. He is quoted by the specialized website Transfermarkt at 1.7 million euros.

Throughout his career, Keita also played for Ajaccio, Lille, Westerlo, Sion and Sivasspor, before the transfer to Romania.

Rapid is a big club here. Everyone knows Rapidul, it's an organized club with a lot of supporters, which I like a lot, with a crazy atmosphere in the stadium.

As a footballer, it is a real pleasure to play in such an atmosphere. This is one of the reasons why I came to Rapid.
