The independent candidate for the presidential elections Nicușor Dan will hold a press conference on Thursday evening, in the context of the information published by Elena Lasconi.

“Press Conference at 22:15 at the campaign headquarters in Elisabeta Boulevard no. 38”, Nicușor Dan's campaign team announced.

The USR candidate for the presidential elections, Elena Lasconi, published on Thursday, May 1, on her Facebook page, several photos of which she states to show the mayor of the capital, Nicușor Dan, the former first deputy of the SRI, Florian Coldea, and the former prime minister Victor Ponta.

Nicuşor Dan and people who resemble Victor Ponta and Florian Coldea appear, but in separate images. They seem to leave the same building.

“In the spirit of truth, I think we all need some explanations for these photos,” Lasconi wrote in the post, without any other comments. The USR leader did not specify when the photos were taken.

Victor Ponta said, contacted by Hotnews: “I certainly never saw myself in private with Nicușor Dan. I certainly never saw with Florian Coldea in 2024! It seems clear that it is a fake!”.

The publication of the photos comes one day after, during the electoral debate from Antena 3, Lasconi asked Nicușor Dan if, apart from a well -known meeting at the France's Embassy, he had any discussion with Florian Coldea. The USR leader suggested that Nicușor Dan met with Coldea.

The mayor of the capital denied the information.
