Grease in the kitchen settles on the stove, cabinets and countertops, mixes with dust and turns into a sticky residue over time. It is difficult to wash it off with ordinary water, and strong chemicals are not suitable for everyone. Therefore, many housewives use a simple homemade solution of vinegar, liquid soap and water.
It's easy to prepare. Add about a quarter cup of table vinegar and one or two teaspoons of liquid soap or dishwashing detergent to a glass of water. The solution is mixed well and poured into a spray bottle.
The product is sprayed onto contaminated kitchen surfaces. They are convenient for processing stoves, countertops, kitchen splashbacks and cabinet fronts. Leave the solution for a few minutes to soften the fat, and then wipe the surface with a sponge or rag.
This effect is easily explained. Vinegar helps dissolve plaque and greasy stains. Liquid soap breaks down fat and makes it easier to remove. Water makes the solution less concentrated and helps distribute the product evenly over the surface.
This spray can be used on most kitchen surfaces – tiles, glass, plastic and laminate.
Vinegar is not suitable for natural stone, such as marble or granite. Acid may damage the surface.
After cleaning, it is better to wipe the surfaces with a dry microfiber cloth. It removes remaining moisture and helps avoid streaks. As a result, the kitchen looks cleaner and glossy surfaces become noticeably shinier.
