The weather changes in March: ANM announces above-average temperatures in the first part of the month and little rain. Later, until March 30, thermal values and precipitation will return to normal for the period.
The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued the weather forecast for the next four weeks, valid between March 2 – 30.
Thus, according to meteorologists, in the interval 2 – 9 Marchthe thermal values will be higher than those specific to the period in most of the country, with an intensification of the heat in the mountainous and submontane areas. The exception is the southeastern regions, where temperatures will remain close to the climatological norms.
Regarding precipitation, meteorologists estimate a poor rainfall regime throughout the country, a sign that the first decade of the month will be marked by sunny days and very little rain.
In the second week of the month, during 9 – 16 Marchthermal values will stabilize around seasonal averages in most regions. However, in the west and north of the country, the weather could remain slightly warmer than usual.
The rainfall deficit will remain a constant, with meteorologists warning that rains will be extremely scarce across the country, thus maintaining the drought trend established at the beginning of the month.
In the interval 16 – 23 Marchthe temperatures will remain close to the climatological norms in most regions, with small exceptions in the intra-Carpathian areas, where the thermal values may be slightly higher.
The news is good about rainfall: after a dry period, the rainfall regime will return to normal in most of the country.
The month will end with stable weather. In the last week of the interval, 23 – 30 Marchthe thermal environments will fall within the specific limits of the period at the national level, slightly higher values being possible only locally, in the north and center of the territory.
Also, the amounts of precipitation estimated will be, in general, the normal ones for the end of March, meteorologists announce.
