US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he was not satisfied with Spain and announced that the United States would no longer trade with the country. He added that he was also not satisfied with Great Britain.


– I told Scott (Bessent, Finance Minister) to cut off all (trade) contacts with them, Trump said during a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at the White House.
He recalled that Spain did not increase its defense spending. – And now Spain has said that we cannot use their bases – he added. He assessed that Spain was not friendly towards the USA.
