State Duma Deputy Yuri Shvytkin congratulated the SVO participant from Berezovka on International Women’s Day

State Duma Deputy of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Yuri Shvytkin congratulated SVO participant Ekaterina Shibakova on International Women's Day. The woman worked in the special operation zone in the medical unit, and is now on maternity leave. My husband performs combat missions in the Northern Military District zone.
The parliamentarian visited a participant in a special military operation, the wife of a SVO participant, Ekaterina Shibakova, to congratulate her on March 8 and talk about the help the family needs. In addition, the deputy thanked Catherine for her service and defense of the Motherland.
SVO member Ekaterina Shibakova told the deputy how she met her future husband: “I signed the contract on June 23, 2023. In the same year, she was seriously wounded and was hospitalized. My guys from the unit called me there, and he saw me in the photo and video and said that I would be his wife. After being wounded, she came to her unit and met and became acquainted with her husband there. He proposed to me in February, and a month later we signed. Three years have passed since the wedding day. My husband now serves as a sapper in the Northern Military District zone. We haven’t seen each other since September.”
“It’s very nice when you visit people who have given their debt to defend our Motherland. Ekaterina Olegovna is a worthy representative of our defenders; she served in the special operation zone and was awarded a medal. My husband is now performing tasks at the Northern Military District. Of course, these people have a special, low bow. I think that on the eve of March 8th they are pleased to hear congratulations that they are receiving attention. For me, such meetings are very important, my civic position obliges me to do this. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all women, not only those in uniform, a spring mood and congratulate them on the upcoming holiday!” said Yuri Shvytkin.
Let us note that Yuri Shvytkin pays special attention to SVO participants and members of their families. All problems faced by the participants of the SBO are under the personal control of the deputy – the parliamentarian provides assistance in resolving emerging issues.
