In Krasnoyarsk, the mayor's office began searching for a contractor to reconstruct part of the avenue named after the newspaper “Krasnoyarsk Worker”. The information was published on the government procurement website.

The reconstruction should take place in the area from the Predmostnaya Square ring to Kapitanskaya Street on the even side of the avenue. The total length of the segment is 655 meters.

It is planned to expand the roadway to three lanes, install lighting, update the stopping pavilion and dismantle six old pavilions.

The contractor will also have to improve the pedestrian area by creating lawns and planting trees and shrubs. The Department of Urban Development noted that they plan to plant apple trees, lilacs and honeysuckle on this site.

Let us remind you that six capital pavilions on Predmostnaya Square are already being prepared for demolition. Tenants moved to new premises, the buildings were disconnected from utility networks. For now, the dispatch center for intercity buses remains on site. They plan to move her to a new location in the near future. The owners of the pavilions have already received 125.5 million rubles.

“The reconstruction of the project will last 18 months, taking into account technical interruptions due to weather conditions. I will also add that specialists from the transport department of the capital construction department have analyzed future changes. According to the monitoring results, after all the work on the site, the speed of public transport should increase by more than 2 times,” said Alexander Paramygin, acting. O. Based on the results of the bidding, the conclusion of the municipal contract is planned for the end of March.

Reconstruction of the section of the avenue named after the newspaper “Krasnoyarsky Rabochiy” will be the first step towards transforming Predmostnaya Square for the 400th anniversary of the city.
