Production interruptions in the region. Minister Motyka spoke
Minister Miłosz Motyka noted in an interview with Polsat News that from the point of view of security of supply, Poland remains stable.
— Gas from Qatar is 9%. our domestic consumption. If these supplies are disrupted, we will be able to replace them in the coming months, he explained.
He emphasized that currently deliveries are carried out according to schedule.
According to the minister, Polish gas storage facilities are approximately 50% full, which – as he estimated – should be enough for several months. He also added that Poland has diversified supply directions, which minimizes the risk of possible interruptions.

Prices for households remain unchanged
Motyka reminded that a few days ago, a new, lower gas price tariff for individual customers, introduced by Orlen and approved by the president of the Energy Regulatory Office, came into force. The new price list covers approximately 7 million customers and will be valid until the end of June.
— Therefore, market situations will not affect individual customers, because these prices have already been approved. However, if the conflict continues, this may affect prices for business customers, he noted.
Referring to the oil market, the minister emphasized that most deliveries are made under long-term contracts, which are less susceptible to short-term price fluctuations.
He also noted that oil imported from Saudi Arabia does not reach Poland through the Strait of Hormuz, which has been practically blocked since Saturday. It is a key route for global oil and gas trade.
— There is no risk that we will run out of fuel or that deliveries will not be made. Please don't worry – he assured.
