Three young kangaroos were stolen from Russian zoos this week. The crimes took place 500 km from each other, and on the day of one of the thefts, the cameras were suspiciously not working. Employees are afraid that a gang is operating.
The first baby disappeared on September 28 in the Yaroslavl zoo. They've been searching for Krosh (video) for four days. We are sure that he would not have escaped on his own and that he would have been stolen. In addition, on this particular day, none of the cameras were working due to technical problems. A statement was written, and law enforcement officers became involved in the case.
Two more marsupials were missing in Kaluga. Six-month-old kangaroos went missing from the Sparrows bird park on September 30. Local security officials are considering the possibility that the cuties were stolen for a private zoo. Both cases are already being considered in conjunction.
