Grupa Azoty, a chemical giant controlled by the State Treasury, dismissed president Andrzej Skolmowski on February 12 after only eight months in this position. As the company announced in a statement on Monday, Marcin Celejewski will take over the helm of Grupa Azoty. She became vice president Małgorzata Królak.

According to Grupa Azoty, Marcin Celejewski is an “experienced manager specializing in corporate strategy, effective business transformation and sustainable development.”
“He was one of the architects of key strategic and transformational projects, including: PKP Intercity (Pendolino implementation), LOT Polish Airlines (development strategy), Qatar Airways (premium sector service strategy), Ukrainian Railways (development strategy and building customer experience), Fiege GmbH and “Adamed Pharma” – we read.

Grupa Azoty. What company is this?
Grupa Azoty is the second largest producer of nitrogen and compound fertilizers in the European Union. It is a joint-stock company in which the State Treasury owns 33%. shares. The group employs approx. 14 thousand employees and produces 5 million tons of fertilizers annually.
Previously, the Group had a business valued at PLN 10 billion. A fraction of that value remains. We write more in this text.
