A military doctor who served on a submarine became Deputy Minister of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

A deputy has been appointed to the Minister of Health of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexey Konovalenko. It was military colonel of the reserve medical service Nikolai Minaev. The corresponding order was signed by the chairman of the regional government, Alexei Medvedev, on March 2.

Minaev was born in 1984 in the Penza region. In 2001 he graduated from the Tver Suvorov Military School, then with honors and a gold medal from the Kirov Military Medical Academy with a degree in general medicine. There he completed his internship in surgery.

From 2008 to 2011, he served in the Pacific Fleet: he was a divisional physician in a division of small missile ships and the head of the medical service of the Samara nuclear submarine. Then he studied at the academy again, this time in healthcare organization.

Returning to the fleet, he successively held the positions of flagship physician of a nuclear submarine division, flagship physician of the submarine forces command, and from 2020 to 2025 headed the entire medical service of the Pacific Fleet. In 2023 he was awarded the Luka Krymsky medal.

In October last year, Minaev went to work at the regional Ministry of Health as an assistant minister. Now he has taken up the post of deputy. He has three children.
