Israel's army (IDF) published a message on X announcing that it is striking targets in central Tehran after carrying out attacks since yesterday morning that have opened the way to the capital of Iran
“For the first time in Operation Lion King: The Israeli army attacks targets of the Iranian terrorist regime in central Tehran,” the IDF wrote on the social network.
According to her, the series of attacks is carried out by the Israeli air force under the coordination of the military intelligence service.
The strikes come after “over the last day, the air force launched extensive strikes to gain air superiority and open the way to Tehran.”
The IDF also posted a video clip of the strikes, saying the footage was from the attack on Tehran:
