Donald Trump comments on the situation in Iran. “They get a good beating.”


Trump said the attacks that killed Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei were effective and could open the way to a diplomatic solution.

On Saturday evening, after holding talks with officials and world leaders throughout the day, the president said he continued to closely monitor Iran's response to the attacks. Iran has fired ballistic missiles at Israel and is attacking U.S. allies elsewhere in the Middle East.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) assured that no American soldiers were injured or killed during operations in Iran. It was also reported that the damage caused to American military installations was insignificant and did not affect the functioning of the facilities.
