Trump is making dreams come true. Part of the White House was demolished

On Monday, Trump announced in a post on the Truth Social platform the beginning of construction of the hall, the cost of which is estimated at $250 million. He noted that the construction is financed from private funds by “generous patriots, great American companies” and Trump himself.

“For over 150 years, every president has dreamed of having a ballroom in the White House to receive guests at receptions, state visits, etc.” – emphasized the American leader.
Trump promised that the White House would not be breached
In July, Trump revealed a plan to build a grand ballroom at the White House. Then – as the media recalled on Monday – he declared that the construction would not affect the existing structure of the seat of the US presidents.
— It will not interfere with the current building. It will be next to it, but not in contact with it, respecting the current building, which I am the biggest fan of. (…) This is my favorite place – said the president then.
The White House said that as part of the construction of the ballroom, the east wing, which was built in 1902, will be “fully modernized.”
