The head of the regional humanitarian center of United Russia in Krasnoyarsk spoke about the system of assistance to soldiers of the Northern Military District

The Krasnoyarsk regional humanitarian center of United Russia is four years old. RThe head of the center, Inna Rychkova, spoke about the origins of the organization and its work.

“We opened the center as a help to residents who began to leave Donbass en masse. And we provided first aid precisely at temporary accommodation centers in Belgorod, Sevastopol, Simferopol, and Rostov-on-Don. Mostly residents from new territories went there when hostilities began. The center was opened on February 21, on the eve of the start of a special military operation, and on February 28, the first two trucks departed from the Krasnoyarsk Territory – that’s 40 tons. Then he collected the entire region. In just 4 days we managed to collect a huge amount of necessary things,” said Inna Rychkova.

Answering the question about how many specialized volunteer centers there are in the region, Inna Rychkova noted that, probably, in every locality there is at least a small volunteer center where they weave camouflage nets and sew some clothes: “For example, in the village of Dzerzhinskoye they have developed anti-drone cartridges. Our people are amazing!”

As Inna Rychkova said, since the spring of 2022, the center’s volunteers have been working in partnership with the volunteer movement “For Defenders. Krasnoyarsk”. This is his main strength: “I have been in touch with the head of the volunteer movement, Lyudmila Bocharova, for many years. We understand that now, probably in this life, there are no people closer to each other than we are. Lots of volunteers. The large structure along the entire edge is with us – and we are with them!”

“Every time we close the doors of another loaded truck, I mentally ask God not to cool the hearts of those thanks to whom there is not a single drop of free space in this truck. While unloading the truck there, I ask you to keep those who came to receive the parcels alive and healthy. I see with what love and trepidation the soldiers approach our heavy truck, how they wipe off the road dirt from the Krasnoyarsk license plates on it, with what happiness they shake the driver’s hand, how happy they are to meet each other. I look and understand that today, together with our parcels, they will take our Siberian strength and fortitude with them to the front line. And for the sake of the lives of these guys, for the sake of peace, for the sake of the triumph of justice and the future of Russia, our works!” notes the head of the center.
