In Rospotrebnadzor, Russia called the fake information that water sources in Russia are facing an infection with a cholera stick.
As said in the Office, on the eve of a resident Sverdlovsk region came to the phone of SMS of the following content:
“Biological sabotage is approaching Russia from Ukraine, infection of all sources of water with a cholera stick – information from the main epidemiologist of Russia.”

Such horror stories began to be distributed in Krasnoyarsk – on social networks and various messengers. They say that supposedly the head physician of the BSMP announced a warning about the impending outbreak of cholera, as a result of which, “there will be more deaths than from Covid.” In this regard, everyone needs to drink only boiled water and brush your teeth, wash products, etc.
Rospotrebnadzor said that this information is completely false:
“On the territory of the Russian Federation, the epidemiological situation on the holder is stable and is under constant control. Within the framework of the current regulatory framework in the country on a systemic basis, a set of measures is held aimed at the prevention of this infection. ”
The department’s specialists also called on residents to always turn to official sources of information to obtain reliable data.
