Red Star Belgrade has been eliminated from the Europa League. The team coached by Dejan Stankovic (47 years old) lost at home against the French from Lille, score 0-2. It was 0-1 after the first 90 minutes, and the duel went into overtime. Nathan Ngoy scored Lille's qualifying goal in the 99th minute.
A few moments before the start of the games, “Delije”, the hard core of Red Star Belgrade fans, displayed a scenography with a religious tone.

The scenography of the Serbian supporters represented Saint Simeon the Fountain of Myrrh on the entire north lawn.
The group of “Delije” supporters has its own spiritual patron, who is Saint Simeon the Fountain of Mir, according to sportal.blic.rs.
The Serbian Orthodox Church celebrates Saint Simeon the Fountain of Myrrh on February 26, exactly the day this match was played. The following message appeared under the scenography: “May faith guide you to victory!”.
Simeon the Fountain of Mir is, in fact, Ștefan Nemanja, the founder of the Serbian statehood and the statesman under whose reign the Serbs definitively switched from the pagan religion of the ancient Slavs to Christianity.
The supporters adopted this celebration 19 years ago, and in the return match with Lille they marked the moment with a large scenography, which covered the entire north lawn.
On the field, things did not go so well for the former opponent of FCSB in the main group of the Europa League. Veteran Olivier Giroud (39 years old) opened the scoring in the 4th minute, and the game went into overtime.
Nathan Ngoy (22 years old) scored the qualifying goal for the French in the 99th minute, and Lille goes into the “eights” of the competition.
