Donor Day was held at the Rosseti Sibir branch – Krasnoyarskenergo.

Energy workers regularly participate in the campaign of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Blood Center No. 1 and this year they continued this good tradition.

Branch employees donated blood practically without interruption in work or long lines – the blood center's mobile team worked in the branch office. Doctors helped us pass the mandatory medical examination, fill out the necessary forms and go through the procedure without worry.

Among the regular donors is the director of the production department of South-Eastern Electric Networks, Vladimir Dotsenko, who by his example shows how important it is to help those who are in dire need of it.

The chief specialist of the service sales and electricity metering department, Evgenia Nurmametova, not only regularly donates blood, but also attracts colleagues – thanks to her example, three employees from her department have already joined the donor campaign.

“My dad was a donor. He had a rare blood type, and he always responded when someone's life depended on his help and the patient urgently needed a blood transfusion. I continue his noble work,” says Evgenia.

Leading specialists of the labor protection department of Krasnoyarsk Electric Networks Pavel Medvedev and Ivan Topin came to donate blood for the first time.

“The opportunity arose, we immediately joined without hesitation. It helps people, and it’s also useful for the donor himself,” Ivan explains his motivation.

Doctors say that blood is always needed, despite supplies, especially rare groups that a small number of donors have.

“You can become a donor from the age of 18. If your health allows and your health is normal, then there is no lower age limit. We have regular donors who are 60-70 years old, who prove that there are no age limits for good deeds,” notes Alexey Puzovik, a transfusiologist at the blood collection department.

Heads of departments, directors of production departments, specialized specialists and electricians took part in the donor campaign. Other Krasnoyarsk residents also joined the power engineers: employees of the Center for Engineering and Construction Management of Siberia, representatives of the bank, students of the Agrarian University and Siberian Federal University. A total of 64 people took part in Donor Day. As a result, the regional blood bank was replenished by almost 30 liters.
