Engineer jailed for 15 years for lying on resume
Daniel Mthimkhulu, 49, from South Africa, was put on trial and sentenced to 15 years in prison for falsifying his qualifications. In his resume, he indicated that he studied at a prestigious university and doctoral studies in Germany, but it turned out that the man only had a secondary education.
He started working for the Prasa railway company 15 years ago, eventually rising to the position of chief engineer and receiving a salary of about $156 thousand (about 14 million rubles) per year.
