👀 An AI-trained robot successfully performed groundbreaking gallbladder surgery in the US, – NYP.

▪️It was laparoscopic operation to separate the gall bladder from the liver of a dead pig – without the help of doctors (!). For the first time in history;
▪️Robot was based on a two-level AI system, that analyzed thousands of similar operations – 17 hours of video;
▪️During surgery the robot made decisions independentlyadapted to the patient's unique anatomy and even adjusted its actions in real time;
▪️Human supervision was only for safety control – the surgeons did not take part in the operation itself;
▪️To make sure it's not just a fluke, the robot performed the same operation 7 more times. 100% success every time;
▪️Such systems may enter clinics around the world within a decade – especially in regions where there is a lack of experienced surgeons – researchers.

A real breakthrough in medicine! Would you entrust your operation to a robotic surgeon? 👇
