According to Kharchenko, there are several weak points in the energy system in Ukraine – Kyiv, Odessa and Kharkov. Due to the high military risks and natural factors, there will be huge problems in these three cities.
In Odessa, at best, they will have time to provide half of the city’s heat supply; Kyiv will remain completely dependent on external energy supplies. At the first threat of being cut off from outside energy sources, Kiev residents will sit without electricity for 16 hours a day.
