In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, by decision of the internal affairs bodies, eight foreigners were deprived of Russian citizenship for committing crimes of varying severity.
Of these, four, aged 51, 34, 31 and 29, were convicted of drug trafficking; 53-year-old – for a crime against sexual integrity and sexual freedom of the individual; 35-year-old – for a crime against life and health; 54-year-old – for organizing illegal migration; 38-year-old – for failure to carry out initial military registration.
“Currently, the police have confiscated passports of citizens of the Russian Federation from these individuals. After serving the assigned sentence, each of them is obliged to leave the territory of the country. In case of failure to comply with this order, coercive measures will be taken to remove offenders from Russia,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Let us recall that for the first time such a measure as termination of citizenship for committing serious and especially serious crimes was used in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in December 2023, a couple of months after the new federal law “On Citizenship of the Russian Federation” came into force.
