Imports of pork and other meat from Brazil to Russia reached a five-year high
According to the results of eight months, the Russian Federation purchased meat from Brazil for $269 million. In annual terms, deliveries jumped 1.5 times.
— The main share of imports was taken by cattle meat. Its purchases increased 40% year over year to $169 million;
— The second place in terms of supply volume was taken by poultry meat and poultry by-products. Imports soared 1.5 times, reaching $71 million;
— Supplies of Brazilian pork jumped 2.4 times, to $7 million.
