We scanned Ofri Arad's debut at FCSB: two main conclusions

• Transferred from FCSB in January after not playing since November 2025, when he made his last appearance for Kairat Almaty, Ofri Arad needed a month to get fit with his fitness.

• Last night he made his FCSB debut, starting in the match with Metaloglobus. He was substituted at half-time. He also scored, in the 13th minute, but his goal was canceled, correctly, due to offside.

“I had meniscus problems, but I can play with pain”

Arad's objective is to participate in the Champions League again.

“It's an honor to be here. I want to play in the Champions League, that's the goal I also had in Kazakhstan. That's what I told MM. I feel good physically, I came off in the 45th minute, but I knew beforehand. I will play more and more, I need to find a rhythm. But I feel good, there are great players here.

I get along better with Birligea and Duarte, but everyone here is friendly. I had meniscus problems in Kazakhstan, but I can play with pain, no problem. Now I'm restored and I'm going to reach 100%”, said Ofri Arad, at the end of the game with Metaloglobus.

Gigi Becali feels that there is room for much better.

“It's too… I mean, he sees the game, but he's too slow on the defensive end. He doesn't have game speed, game rhythm. Let me tell you something. I have to see you touch the ball. If you touch it, it's good. You don't touch it, it means it's not right.

For the 2nd goal, he gave the goal pass to Olaru, he took it to the right (no – towards Pantea, whose shot was deflected decisively by Olaru). He sees the game well, but defensively… We still have work to do.
