Kanye West was offered $8 million for a concert in Moscow. The rapper was ready, but then he wanted more. But this is not the only proposal.
According to Mash, major organizers contacted the rapper four times. For example, the agency of Vladimir Pozner’s wife SAV Entertainment, which brought Metallica and Linkin Park, offered Ye about $5 million. Evgeny Filkenshtein’s company PMI (The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga and Madonna were noted) – about $4 million. Eduard Ratnikov from TCI (not noted by anyone) – modest, funny and ridiculous $3 million.
And the largest fee was offered by one of the largest industrial companies in Russia – $8 million. West settled on it, but then changed his mind.
All potential organizers considered several venues for the concert: VTB Arena, Lukoil Arena, VEB Arena and Luzhniki. During his visit, Kanye visited and studied the last two. As we have learned, negotiations are still underway with some of the above companies. The fee is growing, and the organizers are afraid not to recoup the cosmic amount. The outcome is still unclear.
