Interviewed by “Het Belang Van Limburg”, Aleksandar Stankovicthe midfielder of Club Brugge, spoke at length about his career, the connection with his father, but also the one with Interto which he could return from the summer. “Chivu always told me that age doesn't matter, only your personality,” confessed the 20-year-old Serbian international.

Asked about the possibility of returning to Inter in the summer, Aleksandar confessed: “Everyone knows my contract situation, with the buy-back clause. But honestly I think it's a basic form of respect to focus on Club Brugge while I'm playing here. Inter knows what I'm thinking and that's why they leave me alone. The funny thing is, I'm not the one to decide. Inter decides.

I don't mind that, I can handle it. I was born at Inter, I went through the whole youth system. It's normal that I dreamed of Inter for years. At the same time, I am happy in Belgium and I want to win as many trophies as possible. History shows it's possible here, and my stats speak for themselves.
Just look at Club Brugge's starting eleven. She has such a small average age. No European club dares to have so many young players. Certainly not in Italy. I would make this choice a thousand times over.”
