Mihai Rotaru, the patron of Craiova University, believes that at this moment Mirel Rădoi (44 years old) can work as a coach in the Super League only at the club from Bănie. And he explained why.
Rotaru highlighted the incompatibility with the other big teams in the championship and declared that the doors to Craiova will always be open to him.
Mihai Rotaru is convinced that Mirel Rădoi will only train in Romania at Craiova University
“At the end, when Mirel decided to leave, I can say that we cried on each other's shoulders. We tried to make him feel comfortable. We can say that it is not right to leave at this moment, when the University of Craiova has every chance to succeed with you. Everyone told him not to go.
I played two extraordinary matches and one bad one, but unfortunately, Mirel, you know him very well, when he decides something, you can't get it out of your head.
“Where else could Rădoi train in Romania? He is anti-Dynamovist, and at FCSB he fails from the start, zero compatibility”
He did not close any of his gates. In Romania, all the gates were closed. Where could he train? In Craiova, FCSB, Dinamo, Rapid or CFR. At FCSB it crashes from the start, zero compatibility. He is anti-dynamoist, at Rapid you know very well the chants against Mirel.
At the moment, there is only one team where Rădoi could work in Romania: at Craiova University. The gate of Craiova will always be open for Mirel Rădoi. This is a special relationship.
Mirel Rădoi, beyond the fact that I think he is the best Romanian coach, loves this team. I told Mirel at the airport when I was leaving Vienna that I wanted to go on vacation for a few days: “Please, don't give me a surprise.” He started laughing and then, to my surprise, I couldn't leave.
We supported him with everything, we were afraid of a possible departure, we didn't want something like that”, declared Mihai Rotaru, on the show “DigiSport Special”.
