In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, traffic police helped a pensioner who became ill on the street.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region said that the incident occurred in Zheleznogorsk. Moving along Gorky Street, state traffic inspector Sergei Bilyk noticed an elderly woman sitting on the sidewalk and leaning on the fence. The policeman immediately stopped, got out of the car and began to find out how the pensioner ended up on the ground.

She answered questions in a barely audible and unintelligible manner. It became clear to the traffic police inspector that the pensioner needed urgent medical care.

“Without wasting a second, the officer used the radio to call the nearest traffic police squad. Senior police lieutenant Yegor Borovikov and police lieutenant Ivan Lekontsev promptly left for the scene. Egor took the woman in his arms and put her in a company car. State traffic inspectors took the woman to the emergency department of the city hospital, the pensioner was transferred to the hands of doctors,” the regional police clarified.

Doctors examined and provided the necessary assistance.

Currently, nothing threatens the life and health of the pensioner. After her condition stabilized, she was sent for home treatment. Doctors noted that thanks to the police, timely medical assistance was provided.
