David Miculescu ended the “drought” of 4 stages without a goal scored, managing to score the 3rd goal for FCSB, in the match with Metaloglobus in the 28th stage of the Superliga.

Starting on the right flank of the attack, David Miculescu brought his contribution in the 51st minute of the match at the National Arena, FCSB desperately needing victory to hope, at least theoretically, for a place in the play-offs.

After 2-1 in the first half, FCSB immediately went on the attack at the start of the second half, and David Miculescu increased the difference on the table in the 51st minute.

Darius Olaru received the ball in the middle of the field, and then advanced and served David Miculescu ideally, who got one on one with the goalkeeper George Gavrilaș, whom he dribbled with a slot to the right, scoring with an empty net.

Daniel Bîrligea had opened the scoring in the 6th minute, after being perfectly served by Alexandru Pantea, but Dragoș Huiban restored the tie just a minute later.

On his debut for FCSB, Ofri Arad managed to send the ball into the net in the 13th minute, but his success was canceled by the VAR camera, due to offside.

The same Pantea was the author of a decisive phase in the 26th minute, when he shot towards the goal, and the ball was deflected into the net by Darius Olaru.

Just 3 minutes after David Miculescu's success, Mike Cestor was eliminated after seeing the second “yellow”. Cisotti made it 4-1 in the 79th minute.

It was only the fifth goal scored by David Miculescu this season in the Superliga, after he scored in the defeat with Farul (1-2), in the draw with Hermannstadt (3-3), in the return victory with Farul (2-1) and in the defeat suffered at the National Arena with CFR Cluj (1-4).
