The women's national team squad for the first two matches of the World Championship preliminaries

In these preliminaries, Romania is part of the C5 group, along with the Republic of Moldova and Cyprus. Each national team will play four matches, round-trip, with the other teams in the group.

The first match played by the women's national team in this campaign takes place on March 3, against the Republic of Moldova. The match will be played at the “Arcul de Triumf” stadium.

On March 7, Romania will play the away match against the national team from Cyprus. The batch now called by Massimo Pedrazzini is for these two parties.

The next two matches that Romania will play in this campaign are on April 18, against Cyprus, this time at home, and the other on June 5, away, against the Republic of Moldova.

The team that will finish the group in first place will go to the playoffs. The play-off matches will be played in autumn 2026.
