The habit of caring for nature should be cultivated from an early age. A good example is the Young Nats. Yes, they still exist under the auspices of the First Movement. Children and parents join this community voluntarily and do useful things. For example, now teenagers and their families, under the guidance of scientists, are going to explore the protected Chernyaevsky forest. There they will study the flora and fauna of the Perm region.
This stage is the final part of the year for the young people. Over the past 10 months, they have already visited Kamchatka, Crimea, Altai and other regions. And most importantly, they were able to write and defend their environmental projects. For example, about studying the life of Crimean owls and determining air quality based on the state of lichens.
What other projects and research are children and their parents involved in and why they decide to be in the Movement – the participants themselves and their teachers told us.
With love, Mash Room
