The case of former Prince Andrew. Canada wants to change the name of the island after him

The river flows through the town of Lakefield, where the former prince attended Lakefield College School for two terms in 1977 as part of a student exchange program. The neighboring island, Gordonstoun Island, was named after the Scottish boarding school that Andrew and numerous members of the royal family attended. Its name is also to be changed.
“Selwyn Council has directed staff to investigate the formal procedures required to change the names of Prince Andrew and Gordonstoun Islands, which are within the Selwyn Borough,” Senis announced in a statement.

The case of former Prince Andrew
Former Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, was arrested on Thursday morning on suspicion of abuse of public office, but was released without charge 11 hours later pending further investigation.
The reason for his arrest was suspicions that while he was Britain's special envoy for trade, he passed confidential information to Jeffrey Epstein, the late American financier and sex offender.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of all his titles last fall, but remains eighth in the line of succession to the throne — behind Prince William, his three children, Prince Harry and his two children.
