Heavy traffic conditions on the Giurgiu-Ruse Bridge, MAE issued a travel warning for Bulgaria
Traffic on the Friendship Bridge over the Danube Giurgiu – Ruse will record increased values on Sunday and Monday due to unfavorable weather conditions and the large volume of heavy traffic over 10 tons, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.

The competent Romanian and Bulgarian authorities have announced that car traffic will have priority over heavy traffic, in order to streamline traffic on the bridge, in both directions, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent to AGERPRES.
Romanian citizens can request consular assistance at the telephone numbers of the Embassy of Romania in Sofia: +35929712858 and +35929733510, calls being forwarded to the Contact and Support Center for Romanian Citizens Abroad (CCSCRS) and answered by Call Center operators on a permanent basis.
